Lolwe AI Pilots
Before a deployment is RUNNING, it is a pilot. This page states what that means at Lolwe AI, and what is currently in that stage — by name, not by aggregate.
A pilot is scoped before it starts: what task it is answering, who does that task now, and what would have to be true for it to move to RUNNING. If that cannot be written down, the work has not started.
A pilot is judged against fixtures or a defined test set first, because a system that has not been checked against a known answer has no business being checked against a live one. That stage is Unproven — built and validated, not yet confirmed against live production data.
A pilot that is committed and underway but not yet live — funded, scoped, staffed — is Road. Neither state is described as more than it is. The register exists so that the difference is never rounded away.

The scope comes first: a task a named person does today, a threshold that would justify rolling the result out or stopping it, and an owner for what happens after the pilot team moves on. If those three things cannot be stated in a sentence each, that is worth knowing before any code is written.
